Conditions of participation — the Coterminous renewed discussion
These terms govern participation in the Coterminous renewed discussion, offered by Like Precious Faith, a Scripture Dynamics ministry. By confirming a seat and beginning monthly participation, you agree to what follows. Read it plainly; if anything is unclear, write to us before you begin.

Coterminous is a live, verse-by-verse renewed discussion in the Authorized Version (King James Bible), held for a cohort of participant members. Your monthly contribution supports the work of that discussion — the live hours, the materials, the room. It is not the purchase of the Scripture, a course, a certificate, or a guaranteed outcome. The teaching itself remains freely given on the Scripture Dynamics YouTube channel and always will.
Each cohort round consists of ten seats. Seats are offered following the Six Questions and a conversation, and seat allotment remains at the sole discretion of Like Precious Faith. Your contribution supports the work; it does not, by itself, purchase or guarantee a seat apart from that conversation. Levels of contribution and participation are discussed before any seat is offered.
Participation is offered at levels — The Seat, Participant Member, The Steward — each with its own monthly contribution and its own form of participation, and a Hearing level for recordings and workbooks without a live seat. The level you confirmed in your conversation is the level that bills. Levels and their particulars may be revised for future rounds; your confirmed level holds for your current participation.
Monthly contributions are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Like Precious Faith does not store your card details; Stripe handles payment information under its own security and privacy terms. You will receive an emailed receipt for each successful payment. Billing recurs monthly on or near the date of your first payment until cancelled.
Where a partner organization has referred you, a promotion code provided by that partner may be entered at checkout or on your invoice to receive the associated discount. Codes are issued at the discretion of Like Precious Faith and its partners, may carry conditions or expiration, and may be withdrawn or changed for future rounds. One code applies per participation unless stated otherwise.
You may cancel at any time by writing to scripturedynamics@gmail.com before your next billing date. Participation continues through the period already paid. Monthly contributions are not prorated or refunded for partial months once a billing period has begun, except where required by law or offered at the discretion of Like Precious Faith.
Beyond the terms above, a seat carries a posture. Seat allotment follows the Six Questions and a conversation (see II); what follows is not a test passed once but what a seated participant member affirms and holds — the marks of one who comes to the Book to decrease before it.
Seven marks describe the participant member the renewed discussion is built for:
1. A yielded posture. A seated participant comes to be renewed, not merely ratified — ready to be corrected by the Book rather than confirmed in it.
"He must increase, but I must decrease." — John 3:30
2. A standing in the Word. Scripture is already the participant's dwelling, not a place to be entertained into; a participant comes to the discussion already reading and leaves reading more.
"Search the scriptures..." — John 5:39; "give attendance to reading." — 1 Timothy 4:13
3. Diligence before the text. A participant sits with a hard passage and does the labor of it, rather than waiting to be handed its conclusions.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." — 2 Timothy 2:15
4. Hunger for the Word. The participant comes hungry — the appetite that shows whether or not anyone is watching.
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness." — Matthew 5:6; "as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word." — 1 Peter 2:2
5. A Berean's honesty. What is taught is tested against the Scripture itself — honest inquiry welcomed, not skepticism for its own sake.
"...they searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." — Acts 17:11
6. Faithful stewardship of the seat. A seat is held, not competed for; the participant shows up, does the work, and stewards it for the good of the cohort.
"...it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." — 1 Corinthians 4:2
7. Charitable reasoning. The participant answers a matter only after hearing it, stating a differing position fairly before replying — the disposition carried out in full by the Discourse and Translation Standards that follow (VIII).

Holding these marks. These are a posture held, not a hurdle cleared once. Like Precious Faith may pause or close a seat where conduct persistently works against these marks or against the good of the cohort; where a seat is closed for cause, billing stops going forward.
To protect the integrity of the renewed discussion, every participant member agrees to the standards below. These are not classroom rules but the marks of a company of like precious faith reasoning together over the Book.
The King James Textual Standard. This ministry operates under a single textual standard. In every session, every workbook, every forum post, and every live question, the deployment of Scripture is to the Authorized Version (King James Bible) only. No alternate translation is used in the discussion. This is the ground on which the renewed discussion stands.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16
Four principles govern how participant members speak to one another:
1. Anti-Vitriol. There is no place here for hostility, personal attack, or bitter sarcasm. The discussion is a room for rigorous study, not emotional warfare; all speech is to remain gentle and respectful, even in sharp disagreement.
"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice." — Ephesians 4:31
2. Embracing Counterargumentation. Difficult questions and opposing viewpoints are welcomed, never suppressed. A hard question is treated as a path to deeper understanding of the Book, not as a personal attack. Time is given in the discussion for honest objection.

3. Steelmanning. Before offering a scriptural rebuttal to a differing position, a participant member first states that position in its strongest and fairest form — clearly enough that the one who holds it would say, "yes, that is exactly what I mean." Only then is a rebuttal offered.

4. Prophetic Historiography. History, church history, and present events are read through the lens of sovereign biblical prophecy and divine pattern — that God rules the kingdoms of men — rather than through secular sociology or political theory alone.
"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else... Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done." — Isaiah 46:9-10
Walking by these standards. Participant members are asked to walk in the spirit of the discussion: honest questions welcomed, the Authorized Version honored, and one another edified rather than torn down. Where speech turns to vitriol or hostility, it may be addressed privately or hidden from a forum, with a reminder of these standards. Like Precious Faith may pause or close a seat where conduct works against the good of the cohort or the purpose of the ministry; where a seat is closed for cause, billing stops going forward.
Workbooks, recordings, and other materials are provided for the personal use of participant members. They may not be resold, redistributed, or presented as one's own. The Scripture itself belongs to no one and is freely shared; the labor around it — the preparation, the sessions, the materials — is the work your contribution supports.
Information you provide — through the Six Questions, in conversation, or at checkout — is used to serve your participation and is not sold. Payment data is handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We keep what we need to administer the cohort and honor requests to review or remove your information where we are able.
These terms may be revised as the ministry grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date below. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where a change would materially affect your current participation, we will tell you directly.
