The tables are never sold. THE TENT AND THE TABLES The consultancy is the tent: it is priced, presented, and asked for. The tables, the Hearing, the journal, the artifact are the ministry: never priced, never leveraged, never a selling point. THE TEMPERED ASK The figure is prepared before it is spoken. Expectation is set in small, familiar measures — a coffee, the size of the house — because the times are lean, and a startled hearer hears religion for sale where a prepared one hears provision he can weigh. THE HONEST ANCHOR Tempering is candor slowed to the hearer's pace. Every measure spoken is true, and the figure never changes because of how it was prepared. CARRIES THE CONVERSATION The tempered ask travels by one method: Candor — Admit the hurdle — Look back — Make the Application. The preparation happens before the table; C.A.L.M. is what happens at it. Nothing improvises past it. NOTHING INSIDE SELLS THE TENT What a man meets inside — the Hearing at no cost, the choice with no record, the page in his own hand — is met inside. It is never dangled at the door to close him. THE DOOR ENDS IN A CHOICE Every front piece ends with a decision offered, not a close pursued. No urgency, no scarcity, no countdown, no fear. The tempered ask earns its keep here: he was prepared, so he is free. The gospel taught at the tables is the one Scripture defined — the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of The Person of Christ — and His definitive work: the grace of God that comes with it, which teacheth us how to live victoriously and in liberty in this present world as surely as it conforms them for the next.
